ProPay accounts are currently set up by SirsiDynix for libraries through the BLUEcloud Admin console. You cannot set up a ProPay payment account in Portfolio. However, you do need to specify the institution in the profile.
When you use a payment account managed through BLUEcloud Commerce, such as a ProPay account, patrons can opt on the payment page to have a receipt of the transaction sent to their email address.
To set up a ProPay payment account
| 1 | Contact your SirsiDynix representative to activate payment services for your library. |
| 2 | Log in to the Portfolio Admin console. |
| 3 | Choose Profiles from the navigation pane. |
| 4 | Choose Edit for the profile for which you want to use the payment service. |
| 5 | From the Associated Institution drop-down list, choose the institution that the payment service was assigned to. |
Note: SirsiDynix will let you know which libraries are associated with a specific institution.
| 6 | Choose OK. |
When patrons make a payment through My Accounts, Portfolio displays a payment button on the Fines page. The button opens a form for completing the bank card information and completing the transaction.
